Key Responsibilities

  • •Contribute to the design of bridge structures from inception to completion.
  • •Undertake assessment of existing structures across stages, including on-site inspection and analysis.
  • •Use industry-leading computer software to support structural design and bridge-specific work.
  • •Support structural inspections, structural renewal feasibility studies, and on-site works supervision.
  • •Manage resources and tasks within a scheme of structures, gradually increasing responsibility.

Key Requirements

  • •BEng in Civil or Structural Engineering with a 2:1 classification (or equivalent) or above.
  • •Ability to demonstrate strong technical understanding of Civil & Structural Engineering.
  • •Demonstrable interest in Bridge Structures Engineering and developing a career in the industry.
  • •Willing and able to work towards chartership with the Institute of Civil Engineers (ICE) or Institute of Structural Engineers (IStructE).
  • •Good Microsoft Office skills (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
