Key Responsibilities

  • •Drive a tractor trailer combination or non-CDL truck (26,000+ GVW) to transfer equipment and material within receiving or processing locations.
  • •Maneuver trucks into loading and unloading positions, following loading crew signals and confirming vehicle/loading equipment positioning.
  • •Move freight and materials between production areas, loading docks, delivery vehicles, ships, and containers using trucks and other equipment.
  • •Perform inspections of assigned vehicles and report vehicle defects, accidents, violations, or damages to the appropriate supervisor.
  • •Support internal control responsibilities by complying with internal controls, communicating operational problems or policy violations, and escalating issues upward as needed.
