Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate client onboarding, including managing advisor prospect pipeline, assisting with proposal generation, preparing account paperwork, opening accounts, and establishing ongoing communication/client service plans.
  • •Answer incoming phone calls and handle client needs where possible; advise the Financial Advisor of actions taken.
  • •Maintain the Client Relationship Management (CRM) system and manage client relationships through mailings, reporting, e-mail tracking, and client service models.
  • •Assemble/generate materials for client meetings and may schedule appointments and conference rooms.
  • •Ensure adherence to regulatory policies and may enter security orders, complete client account transactions, and proactively review investment opportunities daily.

Key Requirements

  • •2+ years of prior industry and/or administrative work experience.
  • •Active Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) Exam, Series 7, and Series 66 (or Series 63 and Series 65), or willingness to study and obtain within 18 months of hire.
  • •Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and able to learn Baird’s Private Wealth Management technology platforms.
  • •Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to exchange ideas and information.
  • •Detail oriented with an emphasis on accuracy and strong organizational skills.
