Job Summary

Contribute to complex mining water-resource projects as an intermediate mining hydrogeologist focused on 3D numerical modeling and data interpretation. Collaborate with hydrology, geochemistry, geology, and engineering specialists across Quebec, Canada, and internationally—from exploration to mine closure. Support environmental and social impact evaluations, produce high-quality technical reports for clients and regulators, and help with project planning, schedules, budgets, and the development of junior talent.

Key Responsibilities

•Develop and calibrate 3D hydrogeological numerical models to support large-scale mining projects.
•Analyze and interpret complex hydrogeological data to guide water design and management decisions.
•Contribute to assessing environmental and social impacts of mining activities.
•Participate in geological and hydrogeological characterization of mining sites in Canada and internationally.
•Produce high-quality technical reports and support project planning, budget tracking, and schedule adherence.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 81,100 - 118,900 annually

Key Requirements

•University degree in geology or geological engineering.
•Ability to work legally in Canada.
•Relevant experience in applied hydrogeology, ideally in the mining sector.
•Proficiency with hydrogeological modeling/visualization tools such as FEFLOW, MODFLOW, SEEP/W, HydroGeoSphere, or Leapfrog.
•Strong French and English communication skills (oral and written).
