Key Responsibilities

  • •Plan, coordinate, and supervise production activities during the assigned shift in line with the production schedule and work instructions.
  • •Drive safety leadership and ensure full compliance with Sika HSE requirements and applicable legal regulations, including stop-work for unsafe activity and escalation of incidents/risks.
  • •Ensure product quality by completing required in-process checks and managing nonconformances with Quality, including holding production when quality requirements are not met.
  • •Monitor shift performance against KPIs (safety, output, schedule adherence, yield/material consumption, productivity, equipment downtime, waste/production losses) and implement immediate containment/corrective actions.
  • •Lead the shift team by allocating resources, assigning responsibilities, monitoring attendance/overtime/compliance, providing coaching and feedback, and conducting structured shift-start briefings and comprehensive handovers.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Production, or a relevant engineering discipline; a technical diploma may be considered with substantial, directly relevant manufacturing experience.
  • •Typically 3–7 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
  • •1–2+ years of experience leading a production shift, line, or operational team.
  • •Experience coordinating with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, and HSE in a structured manufacturing environment with documented procedures and performance indicators.
  • •Working knowledge of production KPIs and ERP/production management systems, preferably SAP, plus Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
