Operate forklift and powered pallet jack to transport and unload raw materials, packaging, pallets, and finished goods safely and on time. Use a handheld computer to pick and scan product for outbound loads and record movement transactions in SAP. Maintain equipment (daily inspections and battery care), ensure correct labeling, support production line replenishment, and follow 5S, GMPs, and USDA regulations while reporting safety issues.

Key Responsibilities

•Transport and unload materials safely and in accordance with Tyson policies and procedures.
•Operate powered pallet jack, forklift, and/or reach truck; perform daily inspections and battery charging/water level maintenance.
•Use a handheld computer to pick and scan product to outbound loads and ensure correct labeling of materials and finished goods.
•Deliver raw materials, packaging, and pallets to production areas; move inventory to appropriate storage and move finished goods/WIP to shipping.
•Maintain a clean, organized work environment following 5S, GMPs, and USDA regulations; report damages, discrepancies, unsafe behaviors, and risks to Lead.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 22.05 hourly

Key Requirements

•Must have at least 3 months forklift experience within the last 12 months listed on the application.
•Must be able to read, write, and complete necessary paperwork.
•Applicants must reside within the current recruitment area, including Cumberland County, ME; York County, ME; and Androscoggin County, ME.
•Willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
