Job Summary

Own customer fund operations for ByteDance’s Global Payment team, including clearing and settlement for channel and merchant counterparties, managing settlement rules and fund risk, and performing reconciliations across bank/institutional accounts. Lead monthly account closure activities, support accounting coordination, and partner with Product and Tech teams to build operational flows and deliver customer fund ops solutions for new business initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

•Handle clearing and settlement of channels signed with PIPO entities, including transaction/fee reconciliations, settlement rules management, and fund risk management.
•Clear and settle merchant funds onboarded with PIPO entities, including settlement to merchants, customer account/statement management, and responding to statement queries.
•Reconcile funds and balances across bank or institutional accounts and resolve reconciliation differences.
•Perform monthly closure of bank and institutional accounts and support the group’s financial department in accounting.
•Partner with internal Product/Tech teams to build system capabilities, set up new operational flows, and support customer fund ops initiatives for new business launches.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting.
•3+ years of experience in fintech/financial institutions in cash/fund operations.
•Knowledge of fund clearing/settlement and reconciliations from both corporate and bank perspectives, including global payment fund flows.
•Familiarity with fund settlement and clearing systems in major countries and relevant central bank clearing rules and regulatory requirements.
•Exposure to global customer fund operations and in-house system build-up experiences is preferred.
