Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and execute a 3-year automation master plan for large warehouse facilities, including ASRS, AMR/AGV, goods-to-person, robotic picking, automated packing, and high-speed sortation systems.
  • •Lead end-to-end capital projects (business case/ROI, vendor selection, site layout re-engineering, installation/commissioning, hypercare) with payback under 2 years.
  • •Map and re-engineer all B2C fulfillment workflows (inbound receiving, putaway, inventory accuracy, wave planning, picking/packing/labeling, carrier sorting, returns processing).
  • •Implement Lean Six Sigma/TPS practices and standardized work, visual management, and error-proofing to reduce defects, mis-ships, and damage rates.
  • •Establish labor management and KPIs (UPH, OTS, CPO), deliver $5M+ annualized cost savings, and act as a bilingual technical translator between U.S. operations and Chinese headquarters/engineering teams, presenting business/capital reviews and training leaders on new systems.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Research, Supply Chain Management, or related field (MBA/Master’s in IE/SCM strongly preferred).
  • •5+ years in warehouse automation, process engineering, or operational excellence in high-volume B2C fulfillment (50K+ orders/day).
  • •Hands-on leadership delivering at least 2 major automation deployments from conception to go-live (e.g., AMR fleets, AutoStore, robotic picking, high-speed cross-belt sorters).
  • •Black Belt certification (or equivalent demonstrated impact) with quantifiable results (e.g., 30% productivity lift, 40% defect reduction).
  • •Advanced proficiency in WMS (Manhattan or Blue Yonder or proprietary), SQL/Power BI/Tableau, and simulation modeling (FlexSim/AnyLogic).
