Job Summary

Join a retail personal banking onboarding and training program that prepares you to become a Retail Personal Banker II focused on sales development and relationship building. You’ll use a consultative sales approach and Financial Needs Assessment to match customers with deposits, loans, and fee-based services, support cross-selling and outside sales, and coordinate referrals with business partners. You’ll also operate within risk appetite, meet production goals, and guide CSRs on the sales/referral process.

Key Responsibilities

•Complete a 4-8 week onboarding and education program with rotations in Operations and Sales & Service, including certification at the end.
•Use a consultative sales process and Financial Needs Assessment to build customer profiles and identify financial needs.
•Promote a full range of retail banking products and services, focusing on deposits, loans, fee-based services, and customer retention.
•Use CAMP and approved marketing tools to reach out to customers, set appointments for financial reviews, and engage in outside sales activities.
•Maintain confidentiality, follow policies and procedures while opening/servicing retail products, and manage risk within the bank’s risk appetite.

Travel: Medium travel

Key Requirements

•College degree or work experience with transferrable skills, or a combination of education and experience.
•Experience in the financial industry preferred.
•Ability to develop comfort with sales activities to acquire new customers and/or cross-sell to existing customers.
•Demonstrate understanding of advanced math functions for analysis of credit and financial information.
•S.A.F.E. Act registration at the time of employment through NMLS (MU4R registration).
