Job Summary

Design, build, and maintain security automation and orchestration to improve security operations outcomes. Own SOAR playbooks for alert triage, enrichment, containment, and remediation, and develop integrations across SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, ticketing, vulnerability management, and cloud security. Create reusable automation components with robust observability and governance, and partner with SOC and incident response to safely mature detection-to-response workflows.

Key Responsibilities

•Own the design and delivery of security automation and orchestration capabilities to improve response time, consistency, and quality.
•Develop and maintain SOAR playbooks for alert triage, enrichment, containment, and remediation.
•Build automation integrations with security tooling (SIEM, EDR/XDR, IAM, ticketing, vulnerability management, cloud security) using APIs, webhooks, and event-driven architectures.
•Create reusable automation components with error handling, retries, logging, and observability.
•Partner with SOC analysts and Incident Response to translate procedures into safe automated runbooks with approval gates and governance (RBAC, change control, auditability).

Key Requirements

•3+ years of experience in automation engineering, security engineering, security operations engineering, or a related role.
•Proficiency in at least one scripting/programming language (Python preferred; PowerShell or JavaScript).
•Experience with automation and orchestration tools such as Ansible, Itential, Aria Orchestrator or similar.
•Hands-on automation design using APIs (REST/JSON), webhooks, and authentication methods (OAuth2, tokens, mutual TLS).
•Working knowledge of SIEM concepts and SOC processes (triage, escalation, incident handling).
