Job Summary

Supervise field maintenance activities at Highland Valley Copper, including managing operational maintenance calls, supervising trades, and triaging break-in work. Lead reliability initiatives such as Leak Management, coordinate AMT (Autonomous Mining Truck) calibrations, and ensure daily reporting of field repairs and downed equipment. Provide pit tour support and assist in safety investigations, while mentoring and coaching employees to improve performance, efficiency, and safe, environmentally responsible execution.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage operational maintenance calls and supervise various trades in the field.
•Sponsor and adhere to safety and environmental rules and procedures.
•Improve employee work performance and efficiency through evaluations, mentoring, and coaching.
•Maintain communication with operations dispatchers, asset health specialists, and the HD shop to support efficient operations.
•Drive reliability initiatives (including Leak Management), manage break-in work, and build work orders for future scheduled work.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: CAD 108,000 - 133,000 annually

Key Requirements

•Red Seal ticketed HD mechanic or equivalent technologist with at least five years of trades experience with mobile mining equipment.
•Previous supervisor or team leading experience.
•Previous dispatch experience is an asset.
•Demonstrated leadership to resolve issues and drive accountability.
•Excellent digital literacy in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word).
