Key Responsibilities

  • •Design and implement highly available, fault-tolerant consumer devices and gateways that operate for long periods with minimal maintenance.
  • •Participate in architecture, design, and code reviews.
  • •Develop prototypes to prove key design concepts and quantify technical constraints.
  • •Write Linux-based software for common processors and microcontrollers (e.g., ARM, RISC V).
  • •Develop systems enabling test execution across multiple environments such as virtualized hardware or hardware-in-the-loop simulations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, math, or a STEM discipline with 5+ years of professional software engineering experience; or 7+ years of software engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
  • •Development experience with C, C++, Golang, Python, or Rust.
  • •Experience with embedded or low-level systems development.
  • •Developed, debugged, and deployed software used in real world embedded devices.
  • •Strong networking fundamentals (TCP/IP), plus electronics, math, physics, and radio frequency knowledge.
