Job Summary

Provide senior technical leadership for Health Safety and Environment (THSE) across LNG terminal and downstream Oil & Gas projects in Singapore. Own process safety, loss prevention, and fire protection engineering governance from feasibility through Pre FEED, FEED, and EPC/EPCM, ensuring designs are safe, compliant, cost-effective, and operationally sound. Lead and mentor a Process Safety & Loss Prevention team while collaborating with engineering, project management, permitting, clients, and supply chain to deliver project objectives.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead and deliver process and technical safety scope across Concept, Pre FEED, FEED, and EPC/EPCM phases to ensure technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
•Provide technical authority and governance for process safety, loss prevention, and fire protection design.
•Manage, mentor, and develop the Process Safety & Loss Prevention team to ensure capability, resourcing, and knowledge growth.
•Drive risk-based safety engineering and integrate safety by design into layout, systems, and operations.
•Ensure alignment with client, company, and international safety standards, codes, and legislative requirements; contribute to proposals and bid strategies.

Key Requirements

•8-15+ years’ experience in Process/Technical Safety or Fire Protection Engineering in Oil & gas, LNG regasification and FSRU, chemical/refinery, and renewable/emerging energy sectors.
•Deliver safety engineering across Concept, Pre FEED, FEED, and EPC/EPCM projects for both greenfield and brownfield.
•Hands-on expertise in process safety studies (HAZOP, LOPA, SIL, QRA, PCS, Safety Case) and firewater/fire & gas, firefighting, and passive fire protection design.
•Develop and review PFDs, P&IDs, data sheets, calculations, and technical reports.
•Solid working knowledge of international codes/standards, client specifications, and local regulatory requirements.
