Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain and expand relationships with key opinion leader physicians, coordinating visits, clinician hosting, studies, and conference participation including demonstrations and feedback sessions.
  • •Serve as the clinical expert and connector between internal technical teams and Key Opinion Leaders, answering clinical workflow questions and delivering clinical training and seminars.
  • •Lead clinical collaborations and contracting activities with Key Opinion Leaders, research institutions, and hospitals; help design and execute usability, phantom/animal, clinical, and other evidence-generation studies.
  • •Partner with cross-functional teams (R&D, Product Management, Systems Engineering, Regulatory Affairs, Quality, Usability) to incorporate clinical workflow requirements and physician feedback into product design and validation.
  • •Maintain the cath lab in Cambridge by coordinating issues, purchasing and stocking devices/supplies, and reviewing/approving clinical protocols and safety risk assessment documentation.

Key Requirements

  • •7+ years of experience with a Bachelor’s degree (or 5+ years with a Master’s) in clinical research/science, medical affairs, nursing, radiologic technology, biomedical sciences, medical device development, or a related healthcare field.
  • •Strong familiarity with cath lab procedures and X-ray image guidance experience is a plus.
  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Nursing, Radiologic Technology, Biomedical Sciences, Biotechnology, Pharmacology, Clinical Research, or a related discipline; advanced clinical/scientific education or PhD is a plus.
  • •Experience managing Key Opinion Leader physicians, conducting clinical collaborations, organizing physician feedback sessions, and providing clinical training and seminars.
  • •Ability to translate complex clinical workflows into product development and device evaluation activities in a highly regulated healthcare environment.
