Job Summary

Support the Industrial Service Center’s 3D Printing team with the industrialization of additive manufacturing for metal and plastic parts across the full process chain. Help track 3D-printed components from prototype to series production, optimize designs for additive manufacturing using CATIA V5 and Materialise Magics, and assist with process introduction projects. Manage and analyze inspection results (NDT/DT) and transfer outcomes to Airbus’s Skywise Big-Data platform.

Key Responsibilities

•Support the industrialization of additive manufacturing for metal and plastic parts across the process chain.
•Track 3D-printed parts from prototype to series production, including order tracking and control in SAP.
•Optimize designs for Design for Additive Manufacturing and prepare build jobs using CATIA V5 and Materialise Magics.
•Support projects to introduce and optimize manufacturing processes.
•Manage and analyze inspection results (NDT/DT) and transfer findings to the Skywise Big-Data platform.

Key Requirements

•Enrolled full-time student in engineering-related fields (e.g., aerospace, production engineering, mechanical engineering, plastics engineering) or a comparable program.
•Some initial practical experience in an industrial environment or production is desirable.
•Good knowledge of MS Office.
•Interest in automated manufacturing technologies and production processes.
•German proficiency and good English skills; strong analytical and problem-solving mindset.
