Key Responsibilities

  • •Participate in the FAST Field Applications Engineer track through three rotations: Field Sales Office, Mass Market, and Business Unit/Systems Engineering & Marketing.
  • •In Field Sales Office, work directly with customers to solve technical challenges and analyze technical trade-offs and component selection.
  • •In Mass Market, scale selling actions across customers/sectors and help create more efficient sales processes.
  • •In BU/SEM, gain hands-on experience integrating TI components into systems-level solutions, including technical product selection and PCB/layout work through board bring-up and validation.
  • •After completing the track, perform Field Applications Engineer duties by using sales tools and working with design engineering to identify projects, propose system-level solutions, and influence part selection versus competition.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical and Computer Engineering, or a related field.
  • •Cumulative 3.0/4.0 GPA or higher.
  • •Experience with lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, plus soldering and debugging skills.
  • •Programming skills in C/C++ (LabView recommended).
  • •Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication/presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate and work in a fast-paced environment.
