Staff Software Engineer, Environments Infrastructure

Build the infrastructure behind Anthropic’s reinforcement learning environments for Claude. You’ll design and own core platform layers and widely used APIs/frameworks, create production tooling for debugging and maintenance, and embed with research teams to productionize their work. The role focuses on preventing silent failures through type safety, invariants, testing, and refactors, while driving adoption of new frameworks and mentoring engineers across teams.
