Job Summary

Provide post-sales deployment engineering for network solutions, from requirement definitions and end-to-end system design through staging, configuration, testing, and deployment. Work with clients and vendors (including ISPs and carrier services) to troubleshoot, migrate, and meet contractual obligations and implementation milestones. Deliver technical documentation and architecture overviews, monitor performance against SLAs/KPIs, and continuously improve deployment engineering methodologies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide post-sales engineering implementation services for network solutions across software and/or hardware deployments, including requirement definitions, implementation plans, system design, staging, configuration, testing, and deployment.
•Assess solution specifications against changing customer requirements and recommend solution changes that optimize value for clients and BBOX.
•Prepare documentation for internal and external clients detailing system designs and configurations of deployed solutions.
•Develop and maintain client and vendor relationships (including ISPs and carrier services) to ensure stable, quality product and service delivery.
•Provide technical overview of product architecture and functionality, including system/data requirements, service delivery, and integration with enterprise applications.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science (or related) or equivalent relevant experience.
•Minimum 5 years in engineering deployment responsibilities including complex client requirements assessment, solutions design, and implementation in the technology services industry.
•Previous post-sales engineering experience with network solutions (requirement definitions, implementation plans, end-to-end system design, equipment staging, configuration/testing, and software/hardware deployments).
•Cisco/network or Microsoft certifications preferred (CCNP, CCNA, CCIE, or MCSE).
•Excellent Layer 2 & 3 networking skills, including proficiency with LAN/WAN, cabling, DNS-based GSLB theory, and legacy networking interdependencies; cloud/virtualization preferred.
