Job Summary

Senior data modeller with 8-12 years of experience in banking/financial services. Build and deliver high-quality conceptual, logical, and physical data models, maintain metadata artifacts, and ensure data governance. Act as an effective liaison between business and technical teams, contribute to SDLC/Agile projects, and leverage SQL, GCP BigQuery, Erwin and Visual Paradigm to enable data-driven decision making across Capco’s financial services engagements.

Key Responsibilities

•Create and deliver high-quality data models (conceptual, logical, physical) following governance standards.
•Maintain metadata and data artefacts ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and traceability.
•Collaborate as a liaison between business and technical teams to bridge gaps and enable successful project delivery.
•Contribute to SDLC/Agile projects, working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
•Utilize SQL, GCP BigQuery, Erwin and Visual Paradigm to support data modeling and stakeholder needs.

Key Requirements

•Strong data modeling experience (conceptual, logical, and physical) with a proven ability to create and deliver high-quality data models while following data governance and standards.
•8-12 years of data modeling experience in the financial services domain with strong financial domain knowledge.
•Maintains quality metadata and data artefacts that are accurate, complete, consistent, unambiguous, reliable, accessible, traceable, and valid.
•Independent contributor with solid understanding of the SDLC and Agile methodologies; excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
•Proficient with SQL, MS-Office tools, GCP BigQuery, Erwin, and Visual Paradigm; ability to bridge business and technical teams.
