Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform design support from preliminary through detailed design, validation, manufacturing, and operational service for components in Fan/LPC and/or HPC modules.
  • •Support installed MCE fleets through enhanced commonality and component optimization to meet current and future business and customer needs.
  • •Expand repairability and maintainability for customers and MRO facilities and support test and verification of field issues.
  • •Develop common procedures and standard work, and create layouts, sketches, and notes to present design proposals.
  • •Design and review component layouts, calculate stack-ups, conduct cost studies, resolve complex design problems, and coordinate with engineering personnel to ensure project completion.

Key Requirements

  • •B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering with 8+ years of Mechanical Design engineering experience OR an advanced degree with 5+ years of experience.
  • •Experience with hardware, reading blueprints, and manufacturing methods.
  • •Experience with engineering standard work and Class I and/or II EC process.
  • •U.S. citizenship is required for authorized access under the program/contract.
  • •Proficiency in Teamcenter, NX (preferred).
