Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop, maintain, and support automation systems for marine boiler, burner, gas combustion units, and exhaust gas cleaning products.
  • •Ensure automation design compliance with project-specific requirements prior to handover to classification, testing, and customer.
  • •Participate in and support FAT testing, addressing feedback issues from on-site debugging personnel.
  • •Support and train the testing team to understand product operation logic.
  • •Investigate next-generation core automation platforms and review/test code blocks from other team members.

Key Requirements

  • •Master’s or bachelor’s degree in electrical or automation engineering (or similar technical background).
  • •Experience in automation engineering and PLC programming, including designing medium and large-scale PLC control systems.
  • •Proficiency in text-based programming languages such as SCL and standard FB programming.
  • •Hands-on PLC (Siemens, Mitsubishi or B&R) and HMI (Siemens, B&R, beijer) experience.
  • •Experience creating specifications for automated systems; test-specification experience is preferred.
