Job Summary

Serve as the key technical enabler for a China-based team managing and evolving CDMS-related services. Drive architecture and solution design to improve customer journey and user experience, translating business requirements into detailed technical designs. Build and maintain scalable applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Spring Cloud, lead code reviews and quality gates, and provide production support. Partner with DevOps to enhance CI/CD, observability, and operational excellence, while mentoring developers.

Key Responsibilities

•Act as the key technical enabler for the China-based team to manage and evolve CDMS-related services.
•Drive technology decisions and improve customer journey and overall user experience.
•Understand and refine business/functional requirements and produce detailed technical designs for development teams.
•Lead architecture and solution design, including Java/Spring Boot/Spring Cloud best practices, and promote design patterns.
•Perform code reviews and enforce coding standards and secure coding principles; manage production support and incident/problem resolution within SLAs.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree or above in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline.
•10+ years of hands-on software engineering experience, with strong track record as a Senior Java Developer / Tech Lead.
•Strong hands-on expertise in Java, Spring, J2EE, and SQL; able to adopt new technologies.
•Deep hands-on experience with Spring Boot, plus good knowledge of Spring Cloud and microservices architecture.
•Practical experience designing and developing RESTful APIs, with knowledge of REST and WebSocket, and experience with relational databases and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, Redis).
