Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide rich, engaging synchronous and asynchronous PE learning experiences for students.
  • •Personalize instruction and differentiate based on students’ mastery levels.
  • •Monitor student progress through the learning management system; maintain grade books and make placement/promotion decisions.
  • •Communicate with students and families/learning coaches in a timely manner and respond to questions.
  • •Prepare students for standardized tests and support curricular issues and basic troubleshooting in the virtual classroom.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree.
  • •Active state teaching license.
  • •Missouri Elementary PE Teaching Certification required, or an appropriate elementary certification in another state with ability to obtain MO licensure within 60 days.

  • •Ability to work independently, typically 40+ hours per week, and maintain a professional home office during workdays.
