Job Summary

Provide and coordinate in-patient nursing care, including assessing patient needs, implementing and monitoring care plans, and documenting clinical information. Work with physicians and allied health professionals to develop expected outcomes and nursing diagnoses. Record and escalate vital-sign abnormalities, administer medications and treatments (including IV fluids/blood products), manage wound care, and prepare patients for examinations and procedures, including essential life support within scope.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide and coordinate patient care, education, and emotional support to patients and families.
•Assess and reassess patients, collect pertinent health data, and analyze assessment information.
•Develop and evaluate patient care plans with an interprofessional team in collaboration with patients and bystanders.
•Record vital signs and recognize, address, and escalate abnormalities.
•Perform life support and deliver treatments/medications, including wound care, and assist with admission, transfer, and discharge.

Key Requirements

•Have an appropriate license to work as a registered nurse in the relevant regulatory health authority.
•Manage your own professional re-licensure.
•Hold a valid American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Provider card.
•Communicate clearly and effectively in English (spoken and written).
•Be willing to work across departments when necessary.
