Key Responsibilities

  • •Watch water and respond to emergencies to ensure guest safety.
  • •Operate rides and attractions and follow manufacturer and department safety procedures.
  • •Maintain rescue skill competency and basic life support skill competency at “test ready” levels.
  • •Adhere to departmental training standards and participate in ongoing training.
  • •Support operational needs such as working at heights/in water and moving furniture, ride vehicles, and equipment as directed by management.

Key Requirements

  • •20/25 vision, corrected or uncorrected
  • •Swim a minimum of 50 meters non-stop using front crawl or breaststroke
  • •Swim underwater at a depth of 1.4 meters for 3 meters and retrieve a 10-pound brick
  • •Maintain test-ready lifeguard skills in accordance with the International Lifeguard Training Program
  • •Basic spoken English proficiency
