Job Summary

Define and maintain common infrastructure standards, operating models, and governance to help WPP’s Data & Technology Solutions run its products securely, reliably, and consistently. Lead federated infrastructure governance across platform teams, establish deployment change visibility, and set observability, reliability, and operational readiness expectations. Partner closely with CTO leadership, TechOps, Engineering, Product, Architecture, and Security to balance autonomy with consistent controls, cost transparency, and resilience.

Key Responsibilities

•Define and maintain common infrastructure standards and a federated infrastructure operating model across DTS platforms.
•Coordinate federated infrastructure governance to ensure platform teams meet shared DTS requirements while retaining autonomy.
•Create common deployment governance and production change visibility, including deployment controls and incident correlation.
•Set observability, monitoring, reliability, resilience, and operational readiness expectations (including logging, metrics, tracing, alerting, dashboards).
•Align infrastructure security, governance, and cost visibility with DTS architecture and security/compliance requirements, working with TechOps and Security.

Key Requirements

•Multiple years of experience overseeing infrastructure, platform engineering, SRE, DevOps, cloud operations, or technology operations leadership.
•Strong understanding of cloud platforms, deployment models, observability, reliability, infrastructure governance, and operational resilience.
•Experience working in federated or matrixed technology organizations.
•Ability to define standards and operating models without over-centralising delivery.
•Strong understanding of CI/CD, deployment governance, incident management, monitoring, logging, and production operations.
