Key Responsibilities

  • •Direct the site environmental, health and safety group to provide a safe, healthy, and environmentally sound work environment for employees and the neighboring community.
  • •Advise the Site Manager on environmental compliance, health and safety, including legal matters.
  • •Direct implementation of federal, state, and local EHS policies and regulations and assure compliance for areas under direction.
  • •Administer site EHS policies, evaluate work, and make recommendations on hiring, promotions, salaries, and release decisions under direction.
  • •Represent the “Zero Harm” program and coordinate site security needs and emergency response efforts, including emergency response and evacuation plans.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Safety, Industrial Hygiene, or related field with 10+ years of work-related experience.
  • •Unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States.
  • •Proficiency with Internet, Email, and Microsoft programs.
  • •Strong oral, written, and presentation skills.
  • •High technical and analytical abilities to identify EHS trends and act to address them with minimal disruption and expense.
