Key Responsibilities

  • •Manage the engineering scope of a McDermott project and ensure deliverables meet quality and technical content requirements per contract documents.
  • •Manage technical execution to support project business considerations and establish/implement project procedures.
  • •Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan, including multi-office execution (MOPEX) and project coordination procedures.
  • •Coordinate engineering and design leads, communicate project requirements, and supervise/provide guidance to other Project Engineers.
  • •Assume responsibility for cost, schedule, quantity, and budget control; manage change effectively; develop and maintain project engineering documents and lead handover/archiving (closeout, lessons learned).

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Engineering.
  • •5-10 years of Project Engineering experience.
  • •2-4 years of experience as Project Engineering Manager on a project.
  • •Experience with international projects, multi-office (MOPEX) execution, and joint venture/consortium execution.
  • •Experience developing proposals and contractual documentation, including revamping (Brownfield) and grassroots (Greenfield) projects; demonstrate broad knowledge of engineering codes/standards and the ability to read and understand contractual documentation.
