Key Responsibilities

  • •Effectively execute GIS workflows for power & energy and environmental projects, covering data acquisition through QA/QC and final cartographic delivery with minimal supervision.
  • •Design, manage, and maintain scalable project geodatabases, including schema development, metadata standards, and long-term data stewardship.
  • •Produce defensible GIS analyses and presentation-quality cartographic products (maps, drawings, figures, charts, posters) for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • •Conduct constraint, sensitivity, and impact analyses for routing and siting studies and translate environmental data into decision-ready outputs.
  • •Implement and support mobile GIS and field data collection workflows, and configure ESRI web mapping environments (ArcGIS Online and/or enterprise portal) including publishing layers and controlling permissions.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Geography, GIS, Geoinformatics, Geology, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
  • •8 to 12 years of experience delivering GIS products for environmental consulting projects, especially in power & energy.
  • •Proficiency with ESRI technologies including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online, and ArcGIS Server.
  • •Strong understanding of geodatabase design and management (domains, subtypes, feature class operations).
  • •Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail for professional map and visualization standards.
