Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop and maintain detailed electrical BIM models for building services.
  • •Create and update power distribution, lighting, fire alarm system, and ELV infrastructure model elements.
  • •Develop Revit families and parametric components, and generate drawings, sections, and schedules from models.
  • •Support clash detection through model preparation and clean-up, maintaining model standards, libraries, and project templates.
  • •Deliver electrical BIM model packages, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and support technical reviews and tender/construction documentation outputs.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Architectural Technology, or a related field.
  • •3–5 years of experience in BIM modelling within a building services environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of electrical building services systems and how they are represented in BIM.
  • •Proficiency in BIM tools such as Revit (MEP specialism), AutoCAD, and Navisworks; Dynamo is advantageous.
  • •Experience developing and maintaining Revit families and templates, including understanding ISO 19650 and BIM Level 2/LOD standards.
