Job Summary

Support the Relationship Manager to manage an assigned business banking portfolio with accountability for credit execution, portfolio hygiene, and control discipline. Drive timely credit reviews and renewals, covenant monitoring, and excess management, while proactively managing KYC/AML and documentation to close exceptions. Monitor early warning indicators and partner with internal teams to improve turnaround times, maintain accurate systems updates, and produce MIS reporting, while identifying cross-sell opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

•Partner with the Relationship Manager to manage an assigned portfolio, with primary accountability for credit execution, portfolio hygiene, and control discipline.
•Drive timely completion of credit reviews/renewals, excess management, covenant monitoring, and ongoing credit conditions, ensuring quality submissions and policy adherence.
•Maintain portfolio hygiene by managing KYC/AML, periodic reviews, documentation, account maintenance, and exception closure.
•Monitor early warning indicators and portfolio trends, escalating risks and supporting remediation actions with the Relationship Manager and Credit.
•Support business growth with pipeline management, client meeting preparation, proposals, and cross-sell opportunity identification; coordinate with internal teams and maintain systems updates and MIS reporting.

Key Requirements

•Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
•Strong capability in financial analysis, credit assessment, and risk awareness.
•Relevant experience in business banking/commercial banking in a credit, portfolio, or relationship support capacity.
•Good working knowledge of Trade, Cash Management, and Treasury (advantage).
•Strong organisation skills, ownership mindset, and ability to work across teams to deliver outcomes.
