Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver AI-powered products for associates and customers.
  • •Design, develop, test, deploy, and support foundation model training, LLM inference, agents/multi-agent workflows, similarity search, guardrails, evaluation, experimentation, governance, and observability.
  • •Use Open Source and SaaS AI technologies (e.g., AWS Ultraclusters, Huggingface, VectorDBs, PyTorch) to build production AI capabilities.
  • •Invent and optimize foundation model performance techniques to improve scalability, cost, latency, and throughput.
  • •Lead technical governance and design reviews, including cost-performance governance and mentoring Principal/Manager-level AI engineers.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 250,800 - 286,200 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/AI/Electrical or related fields plus 6+ years developing AI/ML algorithms or technologies, or a Master’s plus 4+ years.
  • •At least 6 years programming with Python, Go, Scala, CUDA, or Java.
  • •Experience leading development of AI systems with tradeoff decisions around cost, latency, throughput, and accuracy.
  • •7+ years deploying scalable, responsible AI solutions on cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure).
  • •Experience building and deploying agentic AI systems and complex AI systems end-to-end.
