Key Responsibilities

  • •Monitor and assess EU regulatory developments relevant to lithium, bromine, and related value chains.
  • •Translate complex regulatory developments into clear business implications for internal stakeholders.
  • •Develop EU regulatory strategy for lithium and bromine products in collaboration with the Senior Director of Regulatory Affairs, Europe.
  • •Lead individual regulatory initiatives and projects, including REACH, CLP, OSH, the Industrial Emissions Directive, the Circular Economy Package, the Water Framework Directive, and the ESPR.
  • •Engage with regulators, trade associations, and external stakeholders, and prepare internal briefings, position papers, consultation responses, and advocacy materials.

Key Requirements

  • •At least five years of experience in a relevant field such as environment, sustainability, chemicals, or raw materials.
  • •Prior experience in European institutions, trade associations, corporations, or NGOs.
  • •Relevant experience in chemicals management, including REACH, CLP, eco-design, and/or circular economy.
  • •Master’s degree in a relevant field; a scientific background (e.g., chemistry, chemical engineering, or environmental science) is an advantage.
  • •Ability to provide counsel and timely information to business leaders, with strong analytical and drafting skills.
