Key Responsibilities

  • •Partner with the Asset Management Compliance team to provide timely guidance and support in managing regulatory compliance risks in line with the Service Model.
  • •Help implement and embed compliance policies, standards, and governance expectations across alternatives investment activities.
  • •Contribute to the RCA process by supporting second line oversight and constructive challenge as you build capability.
  • •Own aspects of the compliance documentation review process, ensuring materials are accurate, current, and fit for purpose.
  • •Monitor business practice and product changes, assess procedure/control adequacy, and drive required updates while performing monitoring and adherence checks.

Key Requirements

  • •Solid compliance background in an Asset Management environment (or adjacent sector) with developing knowledge of risk management and governance frameworks.
  • •Good knowledge of Financial Markets and Asset Management products, particularly alternatives such as private equity and private credit.
  • •Strong communication and interpersonal skills to build trusted relationships across Compliance, the 1st Line of Defence, and external stakeholders (e.g., trustees, investment advisers, auditors).
  • •Strong organisation and prioritisation skills to manage BAU deliverables alongside ad-hoc assessments.
  • •High attention to detail and a disciplined approach to documentation, monitoring, and evidencing outcomes.
