Job Summary

Join the Analytical Sciences team to prepare and analyze animal- and plant-based protein/peptide samples. You’ll support workflows including SDS-PAGE, enzymatic digestion, chromatography, and mass spectrometry, then—after training—operate analytical instruments and analyze data according to SOPs. The role emphasizes accurate experimental documentation, maintaining a clean and safe lab environment, and following laboratory safety requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Independently prepare samples for analysis, including separation of animal- and plant-based protein/peptide samples and routine biochemical analysis.
•After training, independently operate analytical instruments and perform data analysis according to SOPs.
•Accurately and promptly record experimental information.
•Perform proteomics and peptidomics analysis as part of protein/peptide workflows.
•Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow laboratory safety rules.

Key Requirements

•Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Protein Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, Food Chemistry, Food Science, or a related discipline.
•Basic knowledge of analytical chemistry and strong interest in laboratory-based analytical research.
•Preferred experience with protein-related experiments such as protein separation/purification and qualitative and quantitative analysis.
•Preferred experience operating LC/MS or other analytical instruments.
•Available for a full-time internship of at least three months.
