•Champion a proactive, adaptable safety culture and maintain a hands-on shopfloor presence to drive safety awareness.
•Oversee EHS activities for the Zoeterwoude site and provide support/oversight for Almere and Helmond sites in the Netherlands.
•Develop and deliver environmental, health, and safety education and training to meet regulatory and business standards.
•Lead incident investigations (releases, injuries, near-misses) and implement High-Value Learnings to sustain EHS culture.
•Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance and repair work on plant equipment and systems, influencing technical teams without direct reports.

Travel: Medium travel

Salary: EUR 46,200 - 73,920 annually

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Chemical, Mechanical, Environmental Engineering/Science, or a related field.
•3+ years of EHS/H&S experience in a manufacturing environment with an EHS and Enterprise Lean System/continuous improvement mindset.
•Strong knowledge of EHS regulatory requirements, policies, procedures, and programs focused on the Netherlands.
•Experience with life safety codes, EHS rules, HAZOP, occupational safety/health principles, and Process Safety Management.
•Ability to influence teams without direct authority and communicate excellently in Dutch and English; must be based in the Netherlands and authorized to work without sponsorship.
