Job Summary

Work in the Huntington Beach Chemical Technology team to perform contamination control for spacecraft and underwater vehicle clean hardware in a level 10,000 cleanroom. Extract and quantify non-volatile residues, perform particle counts using optical and digital methods, maintain cleanroom inventories, and develop/improve cleaning methods and safety plans. Repair and maintain lab equipment, develop laboratory test plans, and report results to management while mentoring junior staff.

•Develop and improve cleaning methods; prepare reports summarizing results; package clean hardware and mentor junior staff.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, or Chemistry (or non-US equivalent qualifications related to the work).
•Experience working in at least a 100,000 Class Clean Room environment.
•1+ years handling sealants and solvents such as MPK, acetone, IPA, and caulk.
•1+ years working with safety process and/or procedures in a manufacturing or operations environment.
•Lab safety experience and experience with hazardous and non-hazardous cleaning solvents.
