Job Summary

Develop and evaluate subsea well intervention and well access solutions from concept through execution planning. Use offshore operational expertise to assess feasibility, identify execution risks, and define practical strategies across riser-based and riserless intervention, well integrity, inspection, maintenance, and P&A. Collaborate with wells, subsea, marine, and commercial teams to align technical and regulatory requirements, SIMOPS/logistics constraints, and techno-economic value for customer proposals.

Key Responsibilities

•Define subsea well intervention and well access concepts across riser-based, riserless, light well intervention, well integrity, P&A, inspection, and maintenance scopes.
•Assess technical feasibility using operational envelopes, water depth, metocean conditions, subsea interfaces, tooling compatibility, vessel requirements, and equipment availability.
•Apply knowledge of subsea trees, wellheads, intervention systems, controls, and P&A technologies to develop practical intervention solutions.
•Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to gather wells, subsea, marine, facilities, logistics, HSE, regulatory, and commercial requirements during project development.
•Review assumptions and define offshore execution strategies, operational constraints, SIMOPS considerations, weather impacts, logistics, and risk mitigation; evaluate alternatives and support customer proposals.
•Supporting customer proposals and technical presentations by demonstrating intervention feasibility, execution confidence, and lifecycle value.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Subsea, Marine, or Offshore Engineering (or related).
•15+ years of experience in subsea well intervention, well access, offshore operations, P&A, or subsea lifecycle activities.
•Strong knowledge of subsea trees, wellheads, intervention systems, tooling interfaces, ROV operations, and offshore vessel operations.
•Experience supporting offshore projects from concept development and planning through execution and post-job evaluation.
•Ability to assess and communicate techno-economic benefits, and integrate technical, operational, and commercial considerations with strong communication and stakeholder management.
