Job Summary

Own discovery and delivery for a defined area of enterprise inventory capabilities, supporting the Common Vehicle Inventory (CVI) platform. Conduct customer interviews and usage-data analysis, write clear specs in the team’s Spec-Driven Development format, and manage a Jira/Rally-backed backlog with acceptance criteria and milestones. Partner daily with engineering, architecture, UX, and stakeholders to validate problems and drive adoption through training, communications, and success-metric tracking.

Key Responsibilities

•Own product discovery for a defined product space, including customer interviews, workflow mapping, and synthesizing findings into problem statements and direction.
•Write product specs using the team’s Spec-Driven Development (SDD) format, including acceptance criteria, and iterate with PM lead, architecture, and engineering partners.
•Manage backlog in Rally, keeping status current, disposing stale items, tracking milestones, and surfacing blockers early.
•Engage with internal customers, operations, support staff, and external dealers/integration partners to validate how inventory works in the field.
•Drive go-to-market rollout, partnering with Product Readiness to create plans, training materials, stakeholder communications, and adoption metric tracking.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•Bachelor's degree and 4 years' experience in a related field (or alternative combinations such as a master’s + 2 years, PhD + up to 1 year, or 8 years without a degree).
•2+ years of experience in software product management or product ownership.
•Experience writing user stories, acceptance criteria, or product specs.
•Experience working with engineering teams on software delivery.
•Familiarity with AI tools and willingness to integrate them into daily workflows.
