Job Summary

Experienced Turnaround Engineer to provide turnaround management services for refining and petrochemical plants in Saudi Aramco’s downstream sector. Lead/assist turnaround planning, assurance, risk management, and stakeholder coordination across facilities, driving best practices, stage-gated processes, and KPI reviews within Global Manufacturing Excellence (GME). Work location is within Saudi Arabia in the Maintenance Solution Department (MSD).

Job Function: Administration & Executive Assistance

Key Responsibilities

•Lead/assist turnaround assurance review or cold-eye review of turnaround preparation for different facilities to achieve a predictable outcome and improvements.
•Review progress and quality of deliverables during the turnaround life cycle and phases; provide recommendations for improvements.
•Motivate and influence turnaround planning teams across facilities to implement best practices, lessons learned, and enhance quality, safety, and competitiveness.
•Review implementation of stage-gated turnaround processes in different facilities.
•Assist/conduct risk management workshops for turnarounds and scope/schedule/challenge workshops; participate in KPI reviews for turnarounds.

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical preferred)
•Minimum of 12 years’ experience in Turnaround Management including planning and execution in Oil & Gas Downstream (Refining & Petrochemicals)
•Thorough knowledge and experience in turnaround stage-gated concepts
•Experience in conducting turnaround assurance is preferred
•SAP proficiency; PMP certification preferred
