Key Responsibilities

•Anticipate and respond to guests’ needs, answering questions and making recommendations while suggestively selling beverages and menu items.
•Take orders and communicate drink orders to the bar through the Point of Sales system.
•Deliver drinks and maneuver trays through large crowds while maintaining atmosphere control by circulating during the shift.
•Remove dirty glasses and dishes, keep tables clean, and clean spills and obstacles using proper lifting techniques.
•Ensure responsible alcohol service, including requesting ID for guests who appear under 30 and refusing service to intoxicated guests, escalating to a manager as needed.

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent.
•Flexible schedule and ability to work late hours.
•Working knowledge of cocktail tray service, basic food service, responsible alcohol service, drink recipes and garnishes, and point of sales systems.
•Minimum of 2 years of experience serving in an upscale dining and night life venue.
•Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification or Equivalent.
