Job Summary

Senior underwriter role within Zurich Global Employee Benefits Solutions, based in Zurich in an international environment. You will be the primary technical contact for corporate customers, handling complex new and renewal cases in Life, Disability, Accident and Group Medical underwriting. Responsibilities include risk assessment, collaboration with sales and account managers, and contributing to tools, processes and performance management of the book of business.

Key Responsibilities

•Use a disciplined approach to risk assessment for new and renewal business for your own portfolio of customers.
•Collaborate with sales colleagues to help acquire new corporate customers.
•Work closely with account managers and network partners to win and retain the business in the best interest of ZGEBS and the Customer.
•Contribute to the development and maintenance of tools and processes supporting the underwriting area.
•Contribute to the ongoing performance management of the book of business.

Key Requirements

•6+ years of Employee Benefits insurance experience with pricing and underwriting of Group Life and/or Medical Insurance schemes
•Strong analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
•Good English communication skills with ability to discuss and communicate about technical topics to a wide range of stakeholders
•Ability to quickly understand and apply new technical information in relation to risk assessment
•Ability to understand, interpret and translate customer requirements into deliverables
