Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytical methods for the characterization and performance evaluation of a diverse range of materials relevant to perfumery, taste and nutrition applications.
  • •Contribute to a variety of innovation programs, as analytical lead or project manager, and generate relevant insights for the development of science-based solutions
  • •Build and manage strategic scientific relationships with internal and external research and business partners
  • •Communicate project results and analytical insights to stakeholders and document findings in internal reports and, where relevant, external publications
  • •Leverage your technical expertise and scientific network to explore new technologies and propose expansion of Analytical Sciences capabilities

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •PhD in Analytical Chemistry or closely related field with at least 5 years of experience, or Master’s in Science with at least 10 years of experience
  • •3+ years of people management experience in a Research & Development laboratory setting
  • •Expertise in volatile and non-volatile analysis using a wide range of techniques including GC, GC/MS, HPLC, LC/MS
  • •Ability to lead and manage projects/teams of significant scope and complexity, while meeting all deliverables and timelines
  • •Strong collaborative and interdisciplinary mindset with excellent communication skills, networking and influencing abilities
