Job Summary

Lead a small team of analytical chemists in Princeton to develop and implement advanced analytical methods for perfumery, taste and nutrition materials. Key Responsibilities

•Lead the development and implementation of advanced analytical methods for the characterization and performance evaluation of a diverse range of materials relevant to perfumery, taste and nutrition applications.
•Contribute to a variety of innovation programs, as analytical lead or project manager, and generate relevant insights for the development of science-based solutions
•Build and manage strategic scientific relationships with internal and external research and business partners
•Communicate project results and analytical insights to stakeholders and document findings in internal reports and, where relevant, external publications
•Leverage your technical expertise and scientific network to explore new technologies and propose expansion of Analytical Sciences capabilities

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 140,000 - 160,000 annually

Key Requirements

•PhD in Analytical Chemistry or closely related field with at least 5 years of experience, or Master’s in Science with at least 10 years of experience
•3+ years of people management experience in a Research & Development laboratory setting
•Expertise in volatile and non-volatile analysis using a wide range of techniques including GC, GC/MS, HPLC, LC/MS
•Ability to lead and manage projects/teams of significant scope and complexity, while meeting all deliverables and timelines
•Strong collaborative and interdisciplinary mindset with excellent communication skills, networking and influencing abilities
