Key Responsibilities

  • •Lead LV/MV electrical designs across all stages including power distribution, switchgear, protection coordination, and fault level studies
  • •Direct detailed LV calculations (cable sizing, voltage drop, short-circuit analysis, protection discrimination) per IEC BS EN standards
  • •Own the design of emergency power systems (UPS, generator sets, ATS, critical power infrastructure) and lead ELV systems design (structured cabling, access control, CCTV, BMS interfaces)
  • •Champion digital delivery through BIM, CDE platforms, clash detection, and LV modelling to ensure integrated, clash-free designs

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related field; professional registration (CEng/IET/CIBSE, PE or national equivalent) or active pursuit thereof
  • •Extensive experience in building services electrical engineering with LV systems design and demonstrated leadership on major projects
  • •Deep technical knowledge of LV/MV power distribution, protection coordination, emergency power, and ELV/ICT systems
  • •Working knowledge of standards such as IEC 60364, BS 7671, IEC 62305, EN 50110, or equivalent regional standards
  • •Experience delivering LV electrical design through full project lifecycle (concept through construction support) and strong track record in budgeting and scheduling
