Key Responsibilities

  • •Support the Construction Manager with site-based input across the full project lifecycle to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant construction delivery and commissioning.
  • •Contribute to reference design with constructability, methodology, and phasing input; support tender-stage assessment of submissions.
  • •Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards, act as primary liaison with contractors, and maintain transparent communication on progress, risks, and resolutions.
  • •Develop and maintain detailed project schedules and key milestones; monitor progress and implement recovery plans as needed.
  • •Oversee inspections, manage Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) processes, record results from safety tours in the Safety Management System, and assess contractor competency.

Key Requirements

  • •An Irish National Framework Qualification Level 8 (Honours Degree) or higher in Civil Engineering or a related discipline.
  • •3+ years’ experience in construction.
  • •Experience in engineering/management on large-scale multidisciplinary railway or similar infrastructure projects.
  • •Knowledge and experience of construction contracts.
  • •MIEI, MCIOB or MICE (or equivalent/working towards).
