Key Responsibilities

  • •Develop vertical transportation design concepts and calculate lift quantity, size, and speed for a range of building types, including high-rise.
  • •Undertake lift traffic analysis, ideally using Elevate®.
  • •Produce RIBA-stage documentation and reports, including conceptual design and scheme design reports.
  • •Oversee production of drawings and specifications for vertical transportation projects.
  • •Provide VT engineering expertise across single and multi-disciplinary projects, including site surveys, inspections, witness testing, and coordination with other engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Ideally hold an NVQ4, HNC, or equivalent lift or appropriate engineering qualification.
  • •Have extensive vertical transportation experience, preferably from lift contracting or consulting.
  • •Demonstrate strong analytical knowledge and understanding of engineering principles.
  • •Work constructively in a team and develop holistic solutions in a multidisciplinary environment.
  • •Advanced experience using design software, including passenger traffic analysis (ELEVATE), CADD, BIM, Revit, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
