Key Responsibilities

  • •Visit client sites to inspect and examine lifts, material handling equipment, cranes, and construction plant.
  • •Assess installations and ensure compliance with relevant legislation and lift/crane regulatory rules and procedures.
  • •Prepare examination reports using electronic reporting for fast and efficient delivery to clients.
  • •Maintain effective planning and scheduling for diarised meetings, visits, and work allocation, including travel within the local allocated work area.
  • •Process documentation and provide hands-on support, including deputising for fellow Engineer Surveyors when required.

Key Requirements

  • •NVQ Level 3 (or above) in a Mechanical-related subject.
  • •A full valid UK driving licence.

  • •Ability to self-sufficiently plan and organise your week for visits, meetings, and work allocation within a local work area.
  • •Comfort using tablets and smartphones for day-to-day working and producing reports/documentation.
