Key Responsibilities

  • •Own the end-to-end design of the Eight Sleep app, spanning information architecture, low-fidelity to high-fidelity mockups, and beyond
  • •Conduct usability studies and user interviews to inform design work and validate decisions with data
  • •Iterate based on qualitative and quantitative insights to improve app experience, reduce churn, and increase engagement
  • •Build, document, and organize the UI components of the design library and system to drive consistency across the brand
  • •Present design updates to Product, Brand, and C-suite leadership for feedback and alignment

Key Requirements

  • •4+ years experience in UX and UI, with a strong portfolio including live mobile examples
  • •You’ve shipped your designs to public users and have data that proves either success or failure
  • •You are able to consider the technical implications of design decisions and have the ability to find the right balance between new user value and technical effort
  • •You have experience coaching junior designers and collaborating closely with Product Managers and Engineers
  • •You are open to occasional travel to other office locations (San Francisco, Milan) to work with other teams in-person
