Key Responsibilities

  • •Deploy, configure, maintain, and monitor active data network/converged infrastructure and related network equipment.
  • •Manage and maintain WAN/LAN infrastructure and provide routing and switching deployment/configuration support.
  • •Monitor network issues/outages, diagnose, troubleshoot, and escalate incidents based on severity; restore technical service issues.
  • •Support information assurance by updating and maintaining content, classification, protection of organizational web sites, and access management.
  • •Provide ITSM support (Incident/Problem/Change/Service Request and knowledge management) and assist with systems notices and outages.

Key Requirements

  • •6+ years of experience, including at least 4 years of specialized network experience in communications hardware, communications software, or network specialty.
  • •Ability to work independently or under only general direction.
  • •Bachelor’s degree in computer science/systems, information systems/technology, engineering/engineering technology, software engineering/programming, or related fields (or equivalent experience substitutions).
  • •DoWD 8570.01M IAT Level II certification (or ability to obtain it) plus DoD-required certifications such as ACE Infrastructure Specialist and CCNA or better.
  • •US citizenship required; must currently possess and be able to obtain Secret clearance.
