Key Responsibilities

  • •Support risk assessment and review key operational tasks to identify and prevent probable HSSE hazards.
  • •Advise contractors, subcontractors, and vendors on HSSE management and performance to ensure adherence to standards.
  • •Assist in implementing the plant HSSE management system, including emergency preparedness and management, for compliance with legal and contractual requirements.
  • •Conduct site HSSE tours, develop daily/monthly HSSE reports, and support work permit system implementation for safe work planning.
  • •Assist with emergency planning (drills and mock drills), respond to HSSE incidents, and participate in investigations with corrective and preventive action recommendations.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor degree holder in Safety, Environmental or Engineering (or demonstrable equivalent).
  • •Certification from a recognized HSSE institution (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH, IEMA).
  • •Professional membership or association with an international HSSE institution (e.g., OSHA, IOSH, IEMA).
  • •3-5 years’ experience in HSSE in the Utilities / Energy sector.
  • •Floating Solar PV experience is preferred.
